Skeptical, then convinced

I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on text-to-speech conversion with AI voices, and useful for quick voiceover projects caught me off guard. still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.

Does the job

Pretty happy overall. Suitable for videos, e-learning, and accessibility just works and useful for quick voiceover projects. Free tier likely has usage caps can be annoying, but no dealbreakers — I'd recommend it to a friend without hesitating.

Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is text-to-speech conversion with AI voices — handled better than most — and free to use with no upfront cost. Limited advanced customization options is my one real gripe. Worth the time if this is your use case.

Solid for our team

We rolled this out across the team last quarter and free to use with no upfront cost. Audio file download fits neatly into how we already work, and multiple voice options removed a step we used to do by hand. Voice library may be smaller than premium competitors, which is the main caveat, but it has held up under daily use.

Compared a few options

Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: multiple voice options and simple, beginner-friendly interface. Where it lags: less suited for large-scale commercial production. On balance the feature set — especially browser-based, no installation needed — justifies the 4 stars for our use case.
