Compared a few options

Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: progress updates during research runs and produces structured, long-form output. On balance the feature set — especially exportable results within ChatGPT — justifies the 5 stars for our use case.

Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: long-form reports with inline citations and saves hours of manual browsing and note-taking. Where it lags: reports can take 5-30 minutes to generate. On balance the feature set — especially autonomous multi-step web browsing — justifies the 4 stars for our use case.

Solid for our team

We rolled this out across the team last quarter and provides citations for traceable sources. Exportable results within ChatGPT fits neatly into how we already work, and progress updates during research runs removed a step we used to do by hand. but it has held up under daily use.

I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on progress updates during research runs, and handles complex, multi-step research questions caught me off guard. May still include inaccuracies or weak sources is why this isn't a perfect score, still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.
