概要

Solid for our team

We rolled this out across the team last quarter and direct answers with clickable source citations. Live web browsing for up-to-date results fits neatly into how we already work, and natural language, multi-turn queries removed a step we used to do by hand. Requires a ChatGPT account for full access, which is the main caveat, but it has held up under daily use.

Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is inline source citations and links — handled better than most — and cleaner experience than scrolling link lists. Worth the time if this is your use case.

Does the job

Pretty happy overall. Natural language, multi-turn queries just works and direct answers with clickable source citations. May summarize away nuance from original pages can be annoying, but no dealbreakers — I'd recommend it to a friend without hesitating.

Compared a few options

Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: synthesized answers across multiple sources and conversational follow-ups maintain context. Where it lags: can occasionally cite low-quality sources. On balance the feature set — especially inline source citations and links — justifies the 4 stars for our use case.
