Task Master vs manual planning—worth the switch?

Been using Task Master for a few weeks now to break down client projects, and I'm curious if others find it actually saves time or if it's just another layer. For complex requests, it does organize things well, but I wonder if the overhead of integrating it into my workflow is worth it compared to just outlining steps myself. Anyone actively using it in production?

I'd suggest tracking time spent on a few projects with and without Task Master—I found the real ROI appeared around week 3-4 once template setup was done. For complex client work specifically, having structured breakdowns cuts back-and-forth clarifications significantly. What type of projects are you using it for, and are you reusing task templates across clients, or building new ones each time?
