Solid for our team
We rolled this out across the team last quarter and open-source with self-hosting option. Product analytics and funnels fits neatly into how we already work, and session replay and heatmaps removed a step we used to do by hand. Can be resource-intensive when self-hosted, which is the main caveat, but it has held up under daily use.
Compared a few options
Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: product analytics and funnels and open-source with self-hosting option. Where it lags: costs can scale quickly with high event volume. On balance the feature set — especially feature flags and A/B testing — justifies the 5 stars for our use case.
Years in this space
I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is self-hosted or cloud deployment — handled better than most — and open-source with self-hosting option. Worth the time if this is your use case.
Use it every day
Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Session replay and heatmaps is exactly what I needed, and open-source with self-hosting option. but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.
Skeptical, then convinced
I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on feature flags and A/B testing, and combines analytics, replays, and experimentation in one tool caught me off guard. Feature breadth has a learning curve is why this isn't a perfect score, still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.
