Does the job

Pretty happy overall. Automatic in-text citations and references just works and autocomplete keeps writers in flow during drafting. but no dealbreakers — I'd recommend it to a friend without hesitating.

Use it every day

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Support for LaTeX and common citation styles is exactly what I needed, and built-in citations in multiple styles (APA, MLA, etc.). I do wish some universities restrict AI writing tools, but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.

Skeptical, then convinced

I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on chat with uploaded PDFs and sources, and built-in citations in multiple styles (APA, MLA, etc.) caught me off guard. Free tier limits daily word output is why this isn't a perfect score, still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.

Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is plagiarism and AI-detection checks — handled better than most — and built-in citations in multiple styles (APA, MLA, etc.). AI-generated text still requires careful fact-checking is my one real gripe. Worth the time if this is your use case.
