Compared a few options
Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: debug logs of intermediate reasoning and useful for fast prototyping and experimentation. Where it lags: requires API keys and developer setup. On balance the feature set — especially debug logs of intermediate reasoning — justifies the 5 stars for our use case.
Use it every day
Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Lightweight, self-contained Python project is exactly what I needed, and free and fully open source. I do wish output often needs manual review and fixes, but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.
Does the job
Pretty happy overall. Lightweight, self-contained Python project just works and generates multi-file projects from one prompt. Quality depends heavily on the underlying LLM can be annoying, but no dealbreakers — I'd recommend it to a friend without hesitating.
