Skeptical, then convinced
I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on automatic document summarization, and quick summaries and information extraction caught me off guard. Requires uploading documents to a third-party service is why this isn't a perfect score, still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Key information extraction is exactly what I needed, and quick summaries and information extraction. I do wish accuracy depends on PDF text quality, but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.
Years in this space
I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is automatic document summarization — handled better than most — and useful for research and study workflows. May struggle with scanned or image-heavy files is my one real gripe. Worth the time if this is your use case.

We rolled this out across the team last quarter and natural language Q&A interface. Key information extraction fits neatly into how we already work, and conversational chat with uploaded PDFs removed a step we used to do by hand. but it has held up under daily use.
