Solid for our team

We rolled this out across the team last quarter and strong focus on scientific domains. Collaborative workspaces for teams fits neatly into how we already work, and aI-powered paper search and discovery removed a step we used to do by hand. Learning curve for new researchers, which is the main caveat, but it has held up under daily use.

Does the job

Pretty happy overall. Integration with scientific computing tools just works and useful for cross-disciplinary research. Coverage may vary across fields can be annoying, but no dealbreakers — I'd recommend it to a friend without hesitating.

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is aI-powered paper search and discovery — handled better than most — and fast AI-assisted literature search. Primarily aimed at academic and technical users is my one real gripe. Worth the time if this is your use case.

Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: aI-powered paper search and discovery and strong focus on scientific domains. Where it lags: primarily aimed at academic and technical users. On balance the feature set — especially integration with scientific computing tools — justifies the 4 stars for our use case.
