Pārskats

Opre is an AI assistant built specifically for people managers, helping them handle the day-to-day work of leading a team. It offers guidance on running 1:1s, giving constructive feedback, navigating difficult conversations, and making decisions that affect direct reports. By combining management best practices with context about a manager's specific situation, Opre acts as a coaching companion that can be consulted on demand. It aims to reduce the isolation many new and mid-level managers feel by providing a private space to think through people challenges. The tool is positioned for managers across functions who want to grow their leadership skills without waiting for formal training programs or executive coaches.

Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is private, manager-focused chat interface — handled better than most — and useful for new managers lacking mentorship. Quality depends on context provided is my one real gripe. Worth the time if this is your use case.

Use it every day

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Decision-making support for people issues is exactly what I needed, and helps structure difficult conversations. I do wish may not replace human coaching for complex issues, but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.

Solid for our team

We rolled this out across the team last quarter and on-demand coaching without scheduling. Leadership coaching on demand fits neatly into how we already work, and leadership coaching on demand removed a step we used to do by hand. Quality depends on context provided, which is the main caveat, but it has held up under daily use.
