Compared a few options

Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: password-protected app and site blocking and helps enforce self-imposed limits. Where it lags: strict design may frustrate some users. On balance the feature set — especially screen time scheduling — justifies the 4 stars for our use case.

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is password-protected app and site blocking — handled better than most — and simple, focused purpose. Worth the time if this is your use case.

Use it every day

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Focus enforcement for distracting apps is exactly what I needed, and useful for breaking compulsive app habits. I do wish strict design may frustrate some users, but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.

Solid for our team

We rolled this out across the team last quarter and simple, focused purpose. Screen time scheduling fits neatly into how we already work, and customizable block lists removed a step we used to do by hand.
