Overview

Wallabi is a business intelligence service that helps companies transform their operations and growth using AI. It caters to 'AI-curious' CXOs who are looking to leverage AI but may find traditional business intelligence tools overwhelming. The company specializes in AI strategy, rapid prototyping, and custom development. Wallabi's approach involves assessing a company's AI maturity and identifying high-leverage use cases. They work in 2-week sprints to build prototypes that address specific business questions, such as growing revenue with AI, demand for new AI products, and operational efficiency. The company is composed of AI strategists, engineers, and executives from top tech companies like Tableau, Salesforce, and Google. They offer a proprietary AI-powered analytics platform, also called Wallabi, which helps businesses understand their operations, learn faster, and make informed decisions. Wallabi's services include AI transformation roadmaps, tooling and architecture investments, talent development, and process redesign. Their goal is to integrate AI into a company's workflow, rather than just providing consulting or strategy advice.

Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is lightweight setup and onboarding — handled better than most — and focuses on actionable insights over raw dashboards. Less customizable than enterprise BI tools is my one real gripe. Worth the time if this is your use case.

Does the job

Pretty happy overall. Shareable reports and summaries just works and focuses on actionable insights over raw dashboards. May lack depth for advanced analytics needs can be annoying, but no dealbreakers — I'd recommend it to a friend without hesitating.
