Overview

Tooncraft is an AI-powered platform that transforms photos into anime or cartoon images and videos. It supports over 50 anime and cartoon styles, allowing users to convert their photos into various artistic styles, such as those inspired by popular franchises like Dragon Ball Z, Ghibli, and My Hero Academia. The platform is used by content creators, influencers, and individuals to generate custom cartoon avatars, create engaging animated content, and produce unique keepsakes. Tooncraft's capabilities include creating anime-style profile pictures, AI videos, gaming and streaming avatars, AI influencers, and cartoon pet portraits. It also allows users to transform cosplay photos into cartoon artwork, create fan art featuring themselves, and design holiday greeting cards and birthday invitations. The platform's strengths lie in its ease of use, with the ability to transform photos into cartoon and anime art in seconds, and its wide range of styles and applications. However, the quality and accuracy of the transformations may vary depending on the input photo and chosen style. Tooncraft is suitable for content creators, educators, marketers, and individuals looking to create custom cartoon content for social media, streaming, or personal use. Its limitations include the potential for inconsistent results and the reliance on user-uploaded photos.

Use it every day

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Multiple anime style options is exactly what I needed, and fast anime-style conversions. I do wish less control than full illustration software, but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.

Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is multiple anime style options — handled better than most — and simple upload-and-generate workflow. Worth the time if this is your use case.

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is downloadable output images — handled better than most — and fast anime-style conversions. Results can vary with photo quality is my one real gripe. Worth the time if this is your use case.
