Skeptical, then convinced

I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on real-time storytelling as you walk, and adds context to everyday walks caught me off guard. Best with headphones for clear listening is why this isn't a perfect score, still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.

Does the job

Pretty happy overall. Hands-free audio playback just works and hands-free, audio-first experience. Best with headphones for clear listening can be annoying, but no dealbreakers — I'd recommend it to a friend without hesitating.

Solid for our team

We rolled this out across the team last quarter and no route planning required. Hands-free audio playback fits neatly into how we already work, and spontaneous, no-itinerary exploration removed a step we used to do by hand. Coverage may be uneven in less-documented areas, which is the main caveat, but it has held up under daily use.

Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is coverage of history, landmarks, and culture — handled better than most — and hands-free, audio-first experience. AI narration can occasionally be inaccurate is my one real gripe. Worth the time if this is your use case.
