Use it every day

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Cartoon-style character rendering is exactly what I needed, and good for profile pictures and stickers. but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.

Does the job

Pretty happy overall. Optional photo reference input just works and good for profile pictures and stickers. Output quality depends on prompt clarity can be annoying, but no dealbreakers — I'd recommend it to a friend without hesitating.

Compared a few options

Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: browser-based, no signup for basic use and simple prompt-to-avatar workflow. Where it lags: output quality depends on prompt clarity. On balance the feature set — especially downloadable square-format images — justifies the 4 stars for our use case.

Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is text-prompt avatar generation — handled better than most — and simple prompt-to-avatar workflow. Limited to a single niche art style is my one real gripe. Worth the time if this is your use case.
