Overview

Siri is Apple's voice assistant that allows for hands-free control across a range of Apple devices, including iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Siri can be accessed on Apple devices through voice commands, and it can also be used on Apple Watch, Apple TV, and AirPods. One of the key features of Siri is its ability to perform multiple tasks at once, making it a convenient option for users who want to quickly access information or perform tasks without having to navigate through menus. Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is multilingual support — handled better than most — and hands-free activation with "Hey Siri". Limited to the Apple ecosystem is my one real gripe. Worth the time if this is your use case.

Skeptical, then convinced

I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on multilingual support, and works with Shortcuts for custom automations caught me off guard. still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.

Use it every day

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Voice and typed natural language commands is exactly what I needed, and on-device processing for many tasks improves privacy. but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.
