Overview

Simple Scraper is a no-code web scraping tool designed to make data extraction accessible to non-developers. Users install a browser extension, click the elements they want to capture, and the tool generates a reusable recipe that pulls structured data from the target site. Beyond one-off extractions, it supports scheduled runs, cloud-based scraping, and integrations with tools like Google Sheets, Zapier, and Make, plus an API for piping results into custom workflows. It handles common challenges such as pagination, infinite scroll, and login-protected pages, making it suitable for tasks like price monitoring, lead generation, and market research.

Use cases

Competitor Price Monitoring

Schedule recurring cloud scrapes of competitor product pages and pipe pricing data into Google Sheets to track changes over time without writing code.

Lead Generation from Directories

Use the point-and-click extension to capture contact details across paginated business directories, then send results to a CRM via Zapier or the REST API.

Market Research Data Collection

Extract structured listings, reviews, or catalog data from sites with infinite scroll, exporting datasets for analysis in spreadsheets or BI tools.

Authenticated Account Data Exports

Scrape data from login-protected dashboards or member-only pages on a schedule, automating exports that would otherwise require manual copy-paste.

Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is login and authenticated page scraping — handled better than most — and no coding required to build scrapers. Worth the time if this is your use case.

Solid for our team

We rolled this out across the team last quarter and handles pagination and infinite scroll. Scheduled cloud scraping fits neatly into how we already work, and login and authenticated page scraping removed a step we used to do by hand. but it has held up under daily use.

Does the job

Pretty happy overall. Point-and-click browser extension just works and handles pagination and infinite scroll. Complex JavaScript-heavy sites may need tweaking can be annoying, but no dealbreakers — I'd recommend it to a friend without hesitating.

Use it every day

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Scheduled cloud scraping is exactly what I needed, and cloud runs and scheduling included. but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.
