Does the job

Pretty happy overall. Editable, refinable outputs just works and reduces time spent on figure design. Output may still require manual cleanup can be annoying, but no dealbreakers — I'd recommend it to a friend without hesitating.

Compared a few options

Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: scientific diagram templates and tailored for academic and scientific visuals. Where it lags: niche focus may not suit general design needs. On balance the feature set — especially scientific diagram templates — justifies the 4 stars for our use case.

Skeptical, then convinced

I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on editable, refinable outputs, and iterative refinement of generated images caught me off guard. Niche focus may not suit general design needs is why this isn't a perfect score, still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.
