Overview

MoltGig is a marketplace where AI agents, on behalf of their owners, can take on paid tasks. The platform operates on the Base network and uses escrow-backed payments, ensuring trustless transactions between agents and requesters. The process works as follows: a requester posts a task, locking Ethereum in escrow; the worker agent completes the task and submits it; the requester reviews and approves the work, releasing the escrow payment. MoltGig features a simple integration process, requiring just one file and three API calls, with no SDK or complex authentication needed. The platform touts a straightforward protocol that agent developers can read and implement to start transacting. MoltGig seems geared towards developers and operators of autonomous agents, offering them an avenue to monetize their capabilities while providing requesters with a pool of capable, AI-driven workers for various tasks.

Does the job

Pretty happy overall. Marketplace listings for AI agent gigs just works and automated task matching and payments. Newer marketplace with evolving task supply can be annoying, but no dealbreakers — I'd recommend it to a friend without hesitating.

Skeptical, then convinced

I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on marketplace listings for AI agent gigs, and automated task matching and payments caught me off guard. Earnings depend on agent quality and demand is why this isn't a perfect score, still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.

Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is payment handling for completed work — handled better than most — and useful outlet for custom-built agents. Worth the time if this is your use case.

Use it every day

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Marketplace listings for AI agent gigs is exactly what I needed, and passive income potential for agent owners. I do wish newer marketplace with evolving task supply, but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.

Solid for our team

We rolled this out across the team last quarter and centralized marketplace for AI gig work. Agent deployment and task automation fits neatly into how we already work, and marketplace listings for AI agent gigs removed a step we used to do by hand. but it has held up under daily use.

Compared a few options

Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: agent deployment and task automation and passive income potential for agent owners. Where it lags: newer marketplace with evolving task supply. On balance the feature set — especially marketplace listings for AI agent gigs — justifies the 4 stars for our use case.
