Compared a few options

Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: suitable for appointments and inquiries and saves time on routine phone tasks. On balance the feature set — especially suitable for appointments and inquiries — justifies the 5 stars for our use case.

Skeptical, then convinced

I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on real-time conversation handling, and calls display your own caller ID caught me off guard. still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.

Q&A

What are the main limitations to be aware of before relying on it?

The conversational AI may struggle with complex or unclear calls, and accents or audio quality can affect performance. Recipients may also not realize they're speaking with AI, and there's limited public information on which regions are fully supported.

Will the person I'm calling see my real phone number?

Yes. Mitra AI places calls using your own caller ID, so recipients see your familiar number instead of an unknown or generic line, which can improve answer rates and trust.

What types of calls is Mitra AI best suited for?

Mitra AI works well for routine outbound calls such as booking appointments, following up with businesses, and handling simple inquiries. It is less reliable for complex conversations that require nuanced judgment or back-and-forth negotiation.
