Overview

LLM Scout is a brand monitoring tool built for the era of generative search. It tracks how your company, products, and competitors are mentioned across major AI assistants and answer engines, giving marketing and SEO teams visibility into a channel that traditional analytics tools miss. The platform runs recurring prompts against systems like ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Google's AI Overviews, then reports on share of voice, sentiment, citation sources, and changes over time. Teams can use these insights to refine content strategy, identify gaps where competitors are being recommended instead, and measure the impact of optimization efforts aimed at large language models.

Use it every day

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Brand and competitor mention tracking is exactly what I needed, and tracks competitor mentions and share of voice. but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.

Compared a few options

Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: citation and source visibility and tracks competitor mentions and share of voice. Where it lags: coverage depends on each platform's API access. On balance the feature set — especially citation and source visibility — justifies the 5 stars for our use case.

Skeptical, then convinced

I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on sentiment and share of voice analysis, and covers multiple major AI platforms in one dashboard caught me off guard. still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.
