Compared a few options
Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: power-optimized compute for EV platforms and scalable SoCs spanning entry to high-performance tiers. Where it lags: adoption requires significant integration effort. On balance the feature set — especially support for software-defined vehicle architectures — justifies the 4 stars for our use case.
Use it every day
Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Tools for digital cockpit and IVI development is exactly what I needed, and designed for software-defined and zonal architectures. but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.
Does the job
Pretty happy overall. Open software stack and standards alignment just works and backed by Intel's ecosystem and developer tools. Primarily aimed at OEMs and Tier 1s, not end users can be annoying, but no dealbreakers — I'd recommend it to a friend without hesitating.

Skeptical, then convinced
I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on support for software-defined vehicle architectures, and strong AI and compute capabilities for cockpit and ADAS caught me off guard. Adoption requires significant integration effort is why this isn't a perfect score, still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.
