Overview

Hey Caiden is an AI phone receptionist designed to handle business calls, allowing owners and employees to focus on high-value tasks. It aims to provide immediate, consistent, and attentive phone service to customers, ensuring professional interactions and reducing the risk of bad customer impressions. The tool is trained for specific industries and businesses to understand their phone objectives. It works by first being trained on the industry, business, and objectives of the client. This involves a short survey, training, and testing to ensure the AI can handle calls effectively. Once trained, Caiden can answer calls, schedule appointments, handle inquiries, and provide customer service, depending on the business needs. The AI is targeted towards various industries, including healthcare, real estate, hospitality, retail, automotive, legal services, education, insurance, training centers, nonprofits, manufacturing, and food services. Hey Caiden aims to reduce overhead costs, boost team productivity, and drive higher profits by taking over the task of answering phone calls. It offers a solution to common issues such as call mishandling and bad customer impressions. The company guarantees that calls will be answered politely and professionally. If customers are not satisfied and prefer a human receptionist, they can request a disconnection and receive a refund for the current month.

Solid for our team

We rolled this out across the team last quarter and scales with call volume. Always-on availability fits neatly into how we already work, and message taking and call summaries removed a step we used to do by hand. but it has held up under daily use.

Skeptical, then convinced

I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on aI-driven voice call answering, and frees up time for core business tasks caught me off guard. May struggle with highly complex inquiries is why this isn't a perfect score, still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.

Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is custom greetings and call scripts — handled better than most — and professional, consistent caller experience. Less personal than a human receptionist is my one real gripe. Worth the time if this is your use case.

Dependent on stable connectivity, which is the main caveat, but it has held up under daily use.
