Overview

Formulate.ai is a platform that helps organizations build AI-native workflows with minimal human oversight. It does this by providing a shared context layer where vertical expertise for every department can be accessed, and allowing for the creation of coordinated agent teams that can read and write to the same memory. The platform has several features, including Social Presence, which monitors LinkedIn, Reddit, HN, YouTube, and the web 24/7 to score posts for ICP fit and engagement potential, draft genuine comments in the brand voice, and queue them for human-in-the-loop review before posting. Formulate.ai also includes various agent teams, such as SDR Team, Pipeline Builder, Revenue Forecasting, and Customer Success, each of which can be deployed one at a time and is production-ready before being called live. The platform uses a private multi-tenant RAG (Reference Agent Graph) as its memory context, storing every conversation, lead, health score, and embedding. It also provides vector search and tenant isolation, with billing based on usage, including a free tier for up to 100 Formulate Agent Tokens (FATs) per month.

Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is integration with business systems — handled better than most — and potential time savings across operations. Effectiveness depends on integration coverage is my one real gripe. Worth the time if this is your use case.

Compared a few options

Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: monitoring of automated processes and flexible workflow design for varied use cases. On balance the feature set — especially monitoring of automated processes — justifies the 5 stars for our use case.

Use it every day

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Integration with business systems is exactly what I needed, and reduces manual intervention in routine workflows. I do wish autonomous systems require careful oversight, but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.
