Overview

Flyback is a market intelligence platform for new and pre-owned luxury watches. It aggregates active listings from marketplaces and dealers and scores every deal using comparable sold prices, seller reputation, and condition analysis. The platform considers the full picture, including the listing's price compared to recent sales of the same reference, the seller's reputation score, the watch's condition, whether it's a complete set, and current market velocity. Scores range from 0 (overpriced) to 100 (exceptional deal). Flyback's platform covers over 11,000 watch references across 65 brands, with lug-to-lug measurements powering its wrist fit analysis. It also features a reference catalog with price history, market liquidity score, timing signal, and lug-to-lug fit data for each reference. Users can research a reference before buying or set a sniper alert to receive notifications when a deal appears. The platform aggregates listings from various sources, including eBay, Chrono24, Jomashop, Watchfinder, DavidSW, Subdial (UK), and Timepeaks (Japan), among others. With a focus on providing market intelligence, Flyback aims to help users make informed decisions when buying luxury watches.

Skeptical, then convinced

I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on comparable sales price benchmarking, and useful for both collectors and resellers caught me off guard. still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.

Does the job

Pretty happy overall. Coverage of major luxury watch brands and references just works and identifies underpriced listings faster than manual research. Market timing still requires user judgment can be annoying, but no dealbreakers — I'd recommend it to a friend without hesitating.

Use it every day

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Real-time monitoring of watch listings is exactly what I needed, and identifies underpriced listings faster than manual research. I do wish accuracy depends on availability of comp data for rarer references, but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.

Solid for our team

We rolled this out across the team last quarter and useful for both collectors and resellers. Comparable sales price benchmarking fits neatly into how we already work, and alerts for newly surfaced underpriced inventory removed a step we used to do by hand. but it has held up under daily use.
