Fluxx AI is a free AI image generator and editor that utilizes the FLUX.1 model, offering a range of features for creating and editing images. It allows users to generate high-quality images from text prompts, with options to choose from various models such as Flux AI, Nano Banana, and Qwen Image. The platform also supports image-to-video generation, enabling users to create videos from text prompts in a single session. Fluxx AI provides several tools for editing and manipulating images. Users can change clothes on any photo, transform sketches into finished images, and convert photos into cartoon or illustrated versions. The platform also features a background removal tool, which can isolate subjects from their backgrounds with a single click. Additionally, Fluxx AI offers an image editor that can apply changes to specific parts of an image, and an old photo restoration tool that can rebuild damaged or faded photographs. The platform is designed for users who need more than one option to evaluate before deciding on a final output. Fluxx AI's free plan allows users to create high-quality images without a credit card or watermark. For users who require more usage or access to advanced models like Flux Kontext Max, an upgrade option is available. Solid for our team

We rolled this out across the team last quarter and context-aware editing of existing images. Browser-based interface fits neatly into how we already work, and browser-based interface removed a step we used to do by hand. but it has held up under daily use.

Use it every day

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Prompt-based image editing is exactly what I needed, and free access to FLUX.1 Kontext capabilities. I do wish quality depends on prompt clarity, but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.

Skeptical, then convinced

I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on browser-based interface, and context-aware editing of existing images caught me off guard. Quality depends on prompt clarity is why this isn't a perfect score, still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.

Compared a few options

Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: powered by FLUX.1 Kontext model and simple browser-based workflow. Where it lags: free tier likely has usage limits. On balance the feature set — especially iterative refinement of outputs — justifies the 4 stars for our use case.
