Overview

EditStamp is an online designer for creating custom rubber stamps, seals, and embossers. It allows users to generate stamp templates from images in seconds, without requiring software installation. The process involves four steps: uploading a photo or image, customizing the stamp with pre-made templates, text, fonts, colors, and layouts, exporting the stamp in multiple formats, and downloading it. The tool is designed for ease of use, with no advanced design software needed, and supports multiple formats like SVG, PNG, EPS, or PDF for both digital use and professional production. Users can choose from various shapes, including round, rectangular, or triangle, and customize the stamp body and output color. The platform offers a wide selection of ready-to-edit stamp templates and allows users to preview their design before exporting it. EditStamp is suitable for various users, including freelancers who need a quick signature stamp, small business owners looking to add a logo to their documents, and individuals preparing notary or wedding layouts. The tool offers a free version with core tools and templates, as well as a Pro version with additional features, including every export format and priority support.

Compared a few options

Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: custom rubber stamp designer and variety of shapes and sizes. Where it lags: design tools may be basic for advanced users. On balance the feature set — especially multiple stamp shapes and templates — justifies the 5 stars for our use case.

Does the job

Pretty happy overall. Logo and image upload just works and supports text, logos, and graphics. Design tools may be basic for advanced users can be annoying, but no dealbreakers — I'd recommend it to a friend without hesitating.

Skeptical, then convinced

I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on font and text styling options, and real-time preview of layouts caught me off guard. Limited to stamp and seal products is why this isn't a perfect score, still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.

Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is logo and image upload — handled better than most — and variety of shapes and sizes. Physical orders require shipping wait times is my one real gripe. Worth the time if this is your use case.
