Does the job

Pretty happy overall. Quick launch of configured agents just works and centralized place to discover kits. Limited value for users who prefer custom setups can be annoying, but no dealbreakers — I'd recommend it to a friend without hesitating.

Compared a few options

Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: marketplace for OpenClaw setup files and reusable, shareable agent templates. On balance the feature set — especially buy and sell reusable configurations — justifies the 5 stars for our use case.

Skeptical, then convinced

I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on pre-configured agent starter kits, and reusable, shareable agent templates caught me off guard. Limited value for users who prefer custom setups is why this isn't a perfect score, still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.

Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is creator publishing tools — handled better than most — and centralized place to discover kits. Useful only within the OpenClaw ecosystem is my one real gripe. Worth the time if this is your use case.

Solid for our team

We rolled this out across the team last quarter and centralized place to discover kits. Pre-configured agent starter kits fits neatly into how we already work, and quick launch of configured agents removed a step we used to do by hand. but it has held up under daily use.

Q&A

Do I need to use OpenClaw to benefit from this marketplace?

Yes. Claw Starter Kit is specifically designed for the OpenClaw ecosystem, so the setup files and agent templates are only useful if you're building or running agents on OpenClaw.

What exactly do I get when I buy a starter kit on Claw Starter Kit?

Each kit is a pre-packaged OpenClaw setup that bundles the configuration files, prompts, and dependencies needed to launch a working agent quickly, so you can skip building the environment from scratch.

Can I sell my own agent configurations on the platform?

Yes. Creators can publish their own starter kits using the platform's publishing tools, making their configurations available to other OpenClaw users and providing a way to monetize reusable setups.
