Skeptical, then convinced

I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on price tag scanning via camera, and useful for grocery runs and family budgeting caught me off guard. Requires scanning each item to stay accurate is why this isn't a perfect score, still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.

Does the job

Pretty happy overall. Customizable budget limits per trip just works and useful for grocery runs and family budgeting. but no dealbreakers — I'd recommend it to a friend without hesitating.

Compared a few options

Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: mobile-first shopping companion and useful for grocery runs and family budgeting. Where it lags: requires scanning each item to stay accurate. On balance the feature set — especially mobile-first shopping companion — justifies the 5 stars for our use case.

Solid for our team

We rolled this out across the team last quarter and helps enforce shopping budgets in real time. Remaining budget alerts fits neatly into how we already work, and price tag scanning via camera removed a step we used to do by hand. Dependent on readable price tags and lighting, which is the main caveat, but it has held up under daily use.

Use it every day

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Price tag scanning via camera is exactly what I needed, and live running total prevents checkout surprises. I do wish limited value for online or bulk shopping, but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.
