ArchiLabsAI co-pilot for Revit that automates modeling tasks through a simple chat interface

5.0 (4)

Overview

ArchiLabs is an AI assistant built specifically for Autodesk Revit, designed to help architects and BIM professionals speed up repetitive modeling work. Users describe what they want in plain language, and the tool translates those requests into Revit actions, reducing the need to dig through menus or write custom scripts. The co-pilot can handle a range of tasks inside a Revit project, from generating elements and adjusting parameters to running batch updates across a model. By keeping the interaction conversational, it aims to lower the learning curve for newer team members while saving time for experienced users on routine work. ArchiLabs is positioned as a productivity layer rather than a replacement for Revit, fitting into existing architectural workflows and project standards.

Use cases

Automate repetitive Revit modeling

Architects describe modeling tasks in plain language and let ArchiLabs execute them in Revit, eliminating manual menu navigation for routine work.

Batch parameter updates across a model

BIM managers run sweeping parameter or element changes across an entire Revit project through a single chat prompt instead of writing custom scripts.

Onboard junior BIM team members

Less experienced users perform advanced Revit actions by describing intent conversationally, lowering the learning curve for complex BIM workflows.

Replace one-off Dynamo or API scripts

Teams handle ad-hoc automation tasks through natural language prompts, reducing dependence on custom scripting for everyday modeling adjustments.

Does the job

Pretty happy overall. Workflow assistance for BIM teams just works and approachable for less technical users. but no dealbreakers — I'd recommend it to a friend without hesitating.

Solid for our team

We rolled this out across the team last quarter and approachable for less technical users. Batch operations across models fits neatly into how we already work, and batch operations across models removed a step we used to do by hand. Limited to the Revit ecosystem, which is the main caveat, but it has held up under daily use.

Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is batch operations across models — handled better than most — and approachable for less technical users. Worth the time if this is your use case.
