Early in my entrepreneurial journey, I launched a startup, secured investment, and built a team around a clear technical vision — until a core team member split off to build a competing product. The investor was blunt: support goes to whoever ships first.
So I shipped.
What had taken two years to build as a team, I rebuilt alone in weeks. Launched across every major platform, overtook the competitor, and closed our first paying customers within the same month.
