Skeptical, then convinced

I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on youTube and direct file uploads, and handles both audio and video inputs caught me off guard. Limited advanced editing tools is why this isn't a perfect score, still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.

Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is multi-language support — handled better than most — and supports multiple languages. Worth the time if this is your use case.

Compared a few options

Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: export to text and subtitle formats and quick turnaround on transcripts. Where it lags: accuracy may drop with heavy accents or noise. On balance the feature set — especially speaker labeling — justifies the 5 stars for our use case.

Does the job

Pretty happy overall. Export to text and subtitle formats just works and quick turnaround on transcripts. Limited advanced editing tools can be annoying, but no dealbreakers — I'd recommend it to a friend without hesitating.

Use it every day

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Searchable transcript library is exactly what I needed, and quick turnaround on transcripts. I do wish accuracy may drop with heavy accents or noise, but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.
