Compared a few options

Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: reference-based visual styling and no-install web interface. Where it lags: limited fine-grained editing controls. On balance the feature set — especially short video clip creation — justifies the 4 stars for our use case.

Does the job

Pretty happy overall. Browser-based workspace just works and handles stills and short clips in one tool. but no dealbreakers — I'd recommend it to a friend without hesitating.

Years in this space

I've evaluated a lot of these over the years. What stands out here is short video clip creation — handled better than most — and aPI access for automation. Worth the time if this is your use case.
