Visão geral

Internet of Agents is an open-source framework designed to let independent AI agents discover, communicate, and coordinate with one another to solve problems that exceed the capabilities of any single agent. By providing shared protocols and infrastructure, it turns isolated agents into a connected network capable of distributed reasoning and task execution. The framework targets developers and researchers building multi-agent systems, offering the plumbing needed for agent registration, messaging, and joint workflows. Teams can use it to prototype collaborative AI pipelines, experiment with agent specialization, or build production systems where multiple agents handle different parts of a larger problem. Because it is open source, the project invites community contributions and can be self-hosted, adapted, or extended to fit specific research and engineering needs.

Funcionalidades principais

  • Agent-to-agent communication protocol
  • Multi-agent task coordination
  • Open-source and extensible codebase
  • Support for distributed agent networks
  • Framework for building collaborative AI workflows

Prós e contras

Solid for our team

We rolled this out across the team last quarter and enables collaboration across heterogeneous agents. Support for distributed agent networks fits neatly into how we already work, and agent-to-agent communication protocol removed a step we used to do by hand. Documentation may evolve with the project, which is the main caveat, but it has held up under daily use.

Use it every day

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Agent-to-agent communication protocol is exactly what I needed, and flexible and self-hostable. but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.

Use it every day

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Support for distributed agent networks is exactly what I needed, and free and open source. I do wish multi-agent debugging can be complex, but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.
