Agentforce

Salesforce's agentic AI platform for automating customer support and sales workflows.

4.6 (5)

Overview

Agentforce is Salesforce's platform for building and deploying autonomous AI agents that handle customer service, sales, and internal operations tasks. The agents draw on company data within Salesforce CRM, knowledge bases, and connected systems to answer questions, qualify leads, resolve cases, and take actions on behalf of human teams. Organizations can configure agents using prebuilt templates or customize them with their own topics, instructions, and actions through a low-code builder. Agentforce integrates with Data Cloud, Slack, and broader Salesforce clouds, letting agents escalate to human reps when needed and operate within existing security and governance controls. It is aimed primarily at enterprises already using Salesforce that want to automate high-volume interactions while keeping a human-in-the-loop option for complex cases.

Compared a few options

Evaluated this against two competitors. Where it wins: integration with Data Cloud and Slack and enterprise-grade security and governance. On balance the feature set — especially autonomous AI agents for service and sales — justifies the 5 stars for our use case.

Skeptical, then convinced

I went in skeptical — most tools in this space overpromise. It actually delivers on integration with Data Cloud and Slack, and built-in handoff to human agents caught me off guard. Consumption-based pricing can scale unpredictably is why this isn't a perfect score, still, I'd recommend giving it a real trial.

Use it every day

Honestly didn't expect to like it this much. Integration with Data Cloud and Slack is exactly what I needed, and low-code agent builder with reusable actions. but I reach for it almost every day now and it just clicks.
